Junior journalist, adventurous spirit and blogger.

I grew up near Lake Constance in southern Germany and discovered my passion for storytelling at an early age. Just as much as I enjoy telling about my own experiences and adventures, I love listening to people share their stories.
 

My journalistic career began in 2018 in the school yearbook editorial team. From 2019 to 2023, I studied Journalism and Strategic Communication in the Bachelor's program, and since 2023 I have been studying Multimedia Media Production in the Master's program. Alongside my studies, I work as a news editor.

There are several reasons why my blog is called "Lila Fairwald". My first name Viola means "violets", among other things. Because they are purple, I decided to use the corresponding German word "Lila". Faerwald is an English boy's name and means "powerful traveler". Since two of my biggest passions are traveling and adventure, the blog name "Fairwald" hits the mark. It also contains the German morpheme "wald", which means "forest" in English, and the morpheme "faer", expressing my affinity for environmental protection, the vegan lifestyle and fairly produced products.
